Is it possible to have HIV or herpes and only present flu like symptoms?

I had unprotected oral sex with two different men on Wednesday. They both said they had been tested recently and were clean. On Friday I met with a friend, we didnt do anything sexual. We were within close approximaty of each other on the bed. He was sneezing, coughing and had a very runny nose. We hung out on Thursday but he appeared to be fine but he mentioned on Friday that he did have a sore throat with his symptoms but he said it was allergies. On Sunday morning, i woke up with a sore throat. I noticed that there were two red streaks in the back of my throat, it was extremely painful, difficult to swallow and i had no appetite. I only had a sore throat present throughout the whole day. On Monday I had flu like symptoms. Runny nose, coughing and sneezing. It was very bad and there no remedies that helped. This morning I'm still the same but my throat doesn't hurt as much but the runny nose, coughing and sneezing is still present. I have kept a close eye out for herpes symptoms but none are present. No tingling lips, nothing odd inside my mouth, no red gums and no marks around my mouth or face. The roof of my mouth is slightly yellow and the two streaks in the back of my throat are still present. I get tested today at 2pm but I really need to hear what someone thinks it may be now?

As an adult, the only risks for HIV are:
1) having unprotected, penetrative vaginal or anal sex, or
2) sharing IV drug needles with other IV drug users.

This event is a NO RISK event for HIV, no matter what.  Sounds like you caught your friend's cold or flu.  There's a herpes forum here for herpes questions.

Not sure what you are getting tested for this afternoon, but you should cancel if it is HIV.  Not only did you have no risk for HIV, but no HIV test can detect an infection that soon.
