These are silly things to be asking or worrying about unless it turns our you have HIV, which as I said, is extremely unlikely. Either KS or other AIDS indicator diseases can occur any time from a few months to 20 or more years after catching HIV; 10 years is an approximate average time. KS is rare in heterosexuals with AIDS. Some experts believe mouth-to-genital HIV transmission doesn't occur; all exerpts agree that if it occurs, it is rare.
No more comments or replies until you report your test result.
thx doc I just wanted to know if it was true that ks occurs after 10 years after infection? That it is uncommon on hetrosexual people? One last one can you get it by recieving oral I told my girlfriend you cant? I report to you when I get the test thx for your help and educating me.
The chance you were infected during the exposure when the condom broke is very low, for two reasons: it is unlikely your partner had HIV; and even if she did, the average chance of transmission during any single episode of vaginal sex is around one in 2,000. Same for exposure to the stripper, even if a condom wasn't used. And of course mouth contact with breasts (or anywhere else on a person's skin) is no risk at all. Further, if you had been infected for 6-7 years, probably you would know it by now; not all people get symptoms of AIDS that soon, but many do, and many others have at least mild symptoms.
It is dumb to wait until "another vacation" before you get tested. Just go do it now. You can expect negative results -- and vacation or not, in the unlikely possibility you have HIV, it is always better to know than not know. It isn't the test that makes you positive; you have HIV or you don't. Anyway, it is obvious you won't really enjoy your vacation, because the fear you have HIV will be continuously on your mind. And think how much more you will enjoy the vacation when you know you don't have it!
I'll be happy to reply to a brief comment that reports the result of your HIV test. But until then, no further comments, please. It is unlikely you can say anything that would change my opinion or advice.
