Kissing

Hello,

I was wondering why the CDC says kissing is unsafe if their is bleeding gums, but on this board it is deemed as safe.  I was french kissing a woman of unknown status (escort) and I had bleeding gums, and she did too.  Does this put me at risk? I thought no, until I read the CDC comments on the matter.

Just curious, I figure I do not need testing, but probably just need re-assurance because of what I read on their website.

So even with bleeding gums for both parties there is no risk?

Don't they understand that by saying that they make people very nervous and it insights panic and fear in people? ( I was a little worried because like many I had strange sypmtoms after, which makes you think you caught something)

Thanks for the quick reply, much appreciated and great work by all on the forum.

They haven't updated their website in years. Kissing is not a risk of HIV transmission.
