Just Need Some Reassurance

Dear Doctor,

I pricked my finger with a needle about half an hour before fingering a CSW, and I'm a little worried that I may have gotten infected.

It stopped bleeding by the time I started fingering, but later I noticed it would bleed if I pressed really hard on it, so I'm a bit worried it was still open at the time, so my question is what are the odds I might get infected and should I get tested?

A wound of this sort is not a risk for HIV or for any other kind of STD.  I would not worry.  The body seals off such wounds almost immediately after they occur. No one has EVER gotten HIV from masturbation, even though many people have done this with open sores, cuts and wounds.  You have nothing to worry about and do not need testing related to this event.  EWH

Thanks for the reassurance Doctor!

I was a little worried because it could still bleed and I thought it hadn't sealed!
