I don't know if i need a test.

Hi Doctor , scuse me for my English, but i am Italian!!!

Please Doctor help me beacuse I am very worried. I am 26 years old and yesterday I had sex with a woman:
- She is an Italian woman.
- She was married and now separated.
- I don’t know if this is true but She told me that she is a sex worker for the first time yesterday, she tell me that she need money.
- She told me of unprotected sex with other men.

She has performed on me unprotected oral sex and then we have had protected vaginal sex; when I have finished I have seen a lot of vaginal fluid (white liquid) on my pubis. The problem is that since about 2 days before yesterday I have irritation on my pubis with red bubbles, I think is an irritation due to an allergy to the condom that I have used 3 days ago with my girlfriend; I am very concerned because the vaginal fluid of the woman was on my red bubbles, a lot of vaginal fluid!!! I was not bleeding, but my skin was really flushed and scratched...

Doctor i don't know if i need a test, please tell me if is necessary a test, i hope no, I am very concerned ;

Thanks Doctor.

So Doc I can feel comfortable, NO HIV RISK, right? No need test, right?

Welcome to our Forum.  Your risk for HIV from the encounter you describe is low.  Even though she is a commercial sex worker who has had unprotected sex with other men, it is unlikely that she had HIV – most commercial sex workers do not have HIV.  In addition, HIV  is virtually  never spread through oral sex and condom protected sex is safe sex.   This is true even when a partner's genital secretions get on you and that you had a rash on your pubic area does not change this.  You do not need testing related to this exposure.

Do you know that the rash in your public area is a latex allergy?  If you are not sure, I would have a doctor take a look.  Lesions of the sort you describe could have many possible causes.

Take care.  EWH
