I am so sorry doctor for asking again and again, you are totally correct.
I got married 4 months ago and I seriously love the girl I married to and I don't want to make her life bad because of me, that's why I keep testing to make sure I am hiv -, thanks again for your reply even though you know I was previously answered. It's new information for me also about lymph node thank you again for the support.
Welcome to the forum.
If I correctly understand, you remain concerned about the same exposure that you asked about on the HIV international forum a few months ago -- i.e. the exposure occurred in May, 2012. Is that correct? If so, you were answered accurately in the international forum, and also a few days ago on the community forum.
1) You do not need more testing. No vaccines or other drugs have any effect on HIV test results.
2) HIV never causes enlargement of a single lymph node.
3,4) That test, and all others you had, are 100% accurate, no matter how long it takes to do the test.
It is not normal to remain so fearful in the face of such overwhelming evidence that you were not infected and after such strong, repeated, science-based reassurance. It suggest a mental health problem, perhaps over a sexual exposure that you regret. You probably would benefit from professional counseling. I suggest it out of compassion, not criticism. But an online forum is not a substitute for that, so I will have no further comments or advice.
Good luck-- HHH, MD
