testing question (teak)

Just got tested today using the 20min oraquik or whatever its called, where they ***** ur finger and place it in the solution for a period of time.

It was negative...thank you lord...its been 4 1/2 months since my scenario, but just wondering if this means im in the clear? The nurse told me it good but should be verieifed by a 6 month test...

is it possible to become positive after 4 1/2 months?

And could anything like steriod use or gym supplements like vitamins, or muscle hardners give a false negative???

BTW thanks for your guys support, good service you guys provide to answer people concerns that do not know much about HIV. This expereince really has brought me more aware of this growing problem.

I forgot to answer your other question. NO, only heavy dose chemo drugs can possibly delay seroconversion and give you a false NEG. You are in the clear!

I am not Teak, but your result at 4.5 mos is conclusive and no more testing is warranted. CDC recommends 3 mos and you are beyond that. CONGRATS!
