One more question about exposure...Im still scared...Teak?

After my oral sex with exposed wonds on my penis shaft with a prostitute...I went right to the bathroom and poured heavy amonts of rubbing alcohol on the wounds (rubbing alcohol from her bathroom)..now I hear that could have been a worse thing to do then just washing with soap. I am also worried that since my ARS symptoms came late (which they did if they are indeed ARS and my glands are so swollen with the body aches /fever) at 6 weeks...with a very very low lymphcyte cd4 count at  the 6 week mark (13.8 from 20-50%) that its possble I havent converted a immune response yet and that a 6 week test wouldnt be accurate...I know the chances are rare but what do you guys think? Please guys

Meant to say your lymphocytes aren't that low.

1. Rubbing alcohol won't hurt a thing except your penis when it burns.
2. Your Lymphocytes are that low. There are a million things that can cause lymphocyte levels to be less or greater than normal. Those numbers are not CD4 numbers. The normal CD4 is 500-1700 or higher. Now you want a low CD4 I'll give you mine 137 up from 52 in 2005.

sorry I thought my lymphocyte count was low enough to be considered being attacked by the HIV before the conversion and formulation of antibodies...with all your experience (I know what you think but) 1. what about the test results I posted? 2. what abut the alcool theory of HIV and open wounds n general?

Teak I have met a lot of doctors and feel you havemorw knowledge then most of them in regards to HIV....Thank you for helping us.

You are not going to get HIV from saliva!

ARS comes on 2-4 weeks.

You are negative. If you want to get tested 99.9% of people get a result at 6 weeks that wont change when they go for their final conclusive 3 month test.

you are fine!

That has nothing to do with your CD4 count.

You did not have a risk period. What was your CD4 count?
