Oral Thrush

Quick question about oral thrush. Does it normally hurt or is it painful in any way? I have white stuff all over my tongue and don't know if it is thrush or not.

are you sure....cos i have been worried sick....and reading a lot of things online....i read somewhere that there is 0.05% chances of getting hiv through kissing and that just added to my worries.....i mean my tonsils are swolled and its like i am coming down with a cold.....i am soooo worried and cant think straigh anymore!

I read online that swollen tosils are signs of hiv.......thats why i am posting here
