Dr.
Pls help. I screwed up like many on the forum and I had oral only performed on me to ejaculation by a female CSW in Korea on Feb 20. Exactly 2-weeks later along with extreme guilt, I had fever/chills for 24-hr period, 1 week of red splotches/tender spots in mouth with white tongue. At 3-weeks post exposure, I got a very strange rash on my chest, back, shoulders, collar line, with no fever, no swollen lymph nodes.
The rash resembled splotchy small raised hives, water fill postules that erupted then dried after 4 days. It was non-itchy, red and very coincidental with what had happened. All of this in my mind lines up with ARS symptons. I know symptons aren't to be relied on, but I admit, my anxiety is winning at times and the stress is taking its toll. I did get tested/had a negative HIV antibody test at 24 Days and opted for a Ultrasensitive PCR RNA test down to 50ml that showed negative too on day 24 as well. I will hit exactly 5-weeks post event on Friday this week and plan to do another HIV test next week at 5.5 - 6 weeks.
Doctor, It's the rash specifics and the timing that are overwhelming my life right now. I realize that there are allot of viral infections floating around and I know your quoted risks for getting HIV from oral are very small if at all. I am however very concerned and stressing out.
Question 1: What is your opinion on the rash...timing, type, location, non-itch?
Question 2: Since I took the PCR RNA test in the middle of these symptons to include the rash and showed negative, can I conclude/feel very good that I am not having ARS and and am HIV negative?
Question 3: If I get a negative HIV test at 6 weeks, can I put this to bed and move on with my life
Please help Sir....I am in real need of your advice.
