Possible HIV exposure from box cutter???

Hello, I think I'm probabaly being just a little paranoid (going to see a counselor today), but I'm worried about an incident that happened at the place I used to work. One night I accidentally nicked my thumb with a boxcutter. I think I only got the corner kf the blade, it only slipped under the skin for a split second, and I don't think there was any blood on the blade or anyone else injured that day, but I'm scared because I could be wrong about any of those things... I've never had sex or done drugs so I know there's no risk there, but I'm still worried about the possibility of HIV. Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Nobody gets HIV at work or at play because it is dead outside the human body. It is good that you are seeing the counselor.
Thank you. Both of you, for the reassurance.
