Situation

Hi guys,

Here is the situation.

There is a family friend that just came home to visit and I had not seen her in over 8 years.  I saw her on a Sunday.

She moved away and apparently changed her lifestyle and became gay and has been living with the same lady for the last 7 years or something.  This lady is from South Africa, and apparently she was married before, but she got divorced.

I am a little sketched out right now, I know that you cannot transmit unless its from blood, semen, pregnancy or drugs.   Saliva is not a great transmitter as it the protein inside inactivates.   I gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek before I left.  At the time, I did not know she was gay, I found out a day later.

Anyways,  I did not have any flu symptoms that week, but I did not feel the greatest either.   I went out with this girl on Thursday night that I had been talking to for a while, and saw a movie with her and we made out for a while and obviously exchanged a lot of saliva.  My oral hygiene I do not think has been the best lately.

The following Monday 7 days after I had seen the family friend, I woke up with a fever and night sweats, this went on until Wednesday.  It got better Thursday and today It is better, but I can still feel a little bit of the fever a bit.

My throat gums have been really sore and I have tasted blood in my mouth lately.  I am tired abit and I am not getting up to do what I am suppose to do, as I feel I have no energy.  Another thing is that I have been having throat problems for the last few months as well.   Not sure if this has anything to do with this, I have tried everything to remedy it, I thought it was maybe HPV or something, but I cant be sure.  It just has been painful.  I know I had a canker sore in my inside lip, but I am not sure if it was present on the Sunday when I saw the family friend or if it was there Thursday when I went to the movies.

Any thoughts?

Absolutely zero risk of hiv transmission from what you described. What ever is going on with your oral symptoms has nothing to do with hiv.

I understand that transmission is from sexual contact, but I did make out with a girl and exchange alot of saliva.  I do not have any information on how many people she has had sex with.  But, she does not seem like the type of girl to have had alot of partners.

This fever does not seem to go away, it has been on and off, for the last 7 days.

My mouth has grown a lot of soars all over with bumps inside, and my tung seems like it has thrush, it is all white.  There is also a lot of bumps all over the top of my tung.

I have had no motivation to do anything.  I also feel my short term memory has not been great.

I am not sure if I had had oral HPV for hand, as I had throat problems in the past.

I have already seen a doctor before these symptoms occurred, and I am waiting to see a ENT specialist for my throat.  But everything has just got worse, as I listed above.
