1st part of the question:
Can your fingernails carry semen with the HIV virus?

I mutually masturbated with a guy and got his pre cum on my hands I washed my hands but not under my finger nails. After I tried gabbing the top part of a pack of  q tips that were tightly packed together and touched many. Is it possible that I could of transferred the virus to the q tip. I then used the q tip in my ear so I guess my second part would be can HIV enter through your ear that way? Also is the rest of my family at risk who also used a q tip in there ear that I had touched possibly with my fingernails. Please help.

Welcome to the Forum.  You are overthinking this. The HIV virus does not survive outside the body and transfer of the virus on hands, under fingernails, etc.  Your concerns about acquiring HIV from semen trapped under your fingernails are simply not warranted- even if semen were there, and even if it had HIV in it, the virus would not be infectious. Similarly, having place a Q-tip which may have been contaminated with whatever was under your fingernails does not constitute a risk either.  There is no reason for concern and no reason for testing for HIV or for other STIs related to the events you describe.

No, there are no casesin which someone has gotten HIV through their ear.  You really are worrying for too much. EWH

Thank you so much, are there any reported cases of HIV virus entering through the ear? So is it impossible for this to happen?
I also read that viruses can be embedded into cotton though. I'm extremely worried for my family mostly.
