Pep after exposure

Hi , I am a gay male . Haven’t had anal sex . No oral sex in the last 2 years and I have tested negative 3 months bak .
2 days bak I met a friend and we kissed and masturbated together .
He cummed on my face and some semen was on my eye lid and went in the eye I think .

I panicked and contacted a specialist the next day who gave me PEP within 24 hours .

My friend did an hiv test yesterday  and it is non reactive .
It is a vistro eci test , not exactly sure what test it is but that’s what the report says .

I am facing sode effects of pep . Do I continue it and when should I test ?

What is my risk of semen went in my eye ?

This is not a realistic risk for HIV, and the specialist is unqualified if he gave you PEP for that.

No real risk, no reason to test.  You have been here for awhile now, so you are aware of the risks for HIV.

Thanks a lot . Do I continue with the pep ? I am facing some side effects .

Also is alcohol permitted on pep ?
You didn't have a risk for HIV, so I have no idea why you are taking PEP.

Talk to the doctor who prescribed PEP or the pharmacist who gave you the PEP about what you can and cannot do while taking PEP.
Hi , so I checked with my doc he said no alcohol .
Also I read the cdc guidelines and they said that pep should be recommended in case any body fluid comes in contact with the eye , mouth or rectum . Plz advise . Thanks
