Please Help

Hello DR. I had protected sex with an Escort but I had unprotected oral sex and after that I found that I had an ulcer in my mouth. Two days later i had a sore throat and I had a Fever (38.6 C) ...I went to the Doctor he gave me antibiotics the next day I felt fine and my throat starts to heal I took the antibiotics for 8 days..the next day i stopped the antibiotics I had sore throat again and the day after I had a fever I had like 6 (300mg) of antibiotics left so I took them on two days and I start gargling with salt and water and I felt fine after...When I did the unprotected oral sex I don't recall if there was Vaginal secretion but I guess there was since its always present is that right??...I'm really afraid to have HIV  and I can't work I get panic attacks I don't eat.........If someone has a fever from HIV will it go because of medicine?  Now its been 3 weeks and I feel really sick from stress all what I think about is me having HIV its destroying my life I even now I'm thinking that the condom was slipped because I was a bit drunk....Can I do a test which is earlier then 3 month that can confirm my results which is available in Montreal,Canada (I wasn't able to find a place which do DNA test) because I'm not sure if I can wait that long I'll die from a heart attack probably..

PLEASE HELP ME

This is a repetitive quetion.  Do you think my answer will change because you have asked the same question twice?  They will not.  Medications do not make the symptoms of the ARS go away.

You have not looked hard enough in Montreal. Theyre are many excellent clinics which care for persons with and at risk for HIV there.  EWH

No, typically the symptoms of recently acquired HIV do not begin for at least a week, and more typically two weeks after exposure.  EWH

Welcome to the Forum, I will be happy to answer your question.  My answer will mostly repeat what Teak and Vance have already told you.  Your exposure was close to no risk and should not concern you.  Most commercial sex workers do not have HIV or other STIs. Even if your partner did, even most unprotected exposures do not lead to infection.  There is no  risk from your condom protected sex and if you performed oral sex on her, your risk for infection IF she was infected (unlikely) is less than 1 infection per 10,000 acts of oral sex (i.e. it would take over 27 years of performing oral sex daily to do this 10,000 times).  That you may have had a sore in your mouth does not change this and that you got a sore throat two days after oral sex is not consistent with HIV or other oral STIS.

My advice would be to not worry. If you feel the need to test, there are 4th generation tests available in the Montreal area which will provide conclusive results for you 4 weeks after exposure.  If you choose to test, I am confident that you will find that you did not get HIV or any other STI from the exposures you describe.

I hope these comments are helpful. EWH
