Does the fact the we both were not circumcised make a difference?
The answers are not going to change. You did not have a risk and if you have a concern about your health see your doctor.
I just woke up because my dry mouth which sometimes makes it difficult to eat (bread is difficult at times) and my saliva production comes and goes, but I also remembered something new. After I ejaculated and before he did, he rubbed the area between my testicles and my anal opening. I know he hadn't ejaculated but if maybe he had his pre-ejaculate on his finger could it have gone in my bottom. He did not rub my opening or go in it and he hadn't ejaculated yet, he just massaged the area underneath my testicles? I know these are all such random things but I still show symptoms and if I had something, shouldn't this all not even be happening anymore? Shouldn't I not be having symptoms? Please comment.
I didn't have high risk exposure but if it had happened (it did not, no anal) would symptoms like the white stuff on tongue and throat be present so soon (not even 3 months yet)
The fact that I have felt ill since I went and had my 3 week exam and have all these symptoms I have not experienced before scares me profusely because I thought any symptoms were gone after a few weeks.
you and your family can see a doctor if you are having health problems...it's NOT related to hiv.
As far as the symptoms, the white sour coating is in my mouth and throat and it causes me to cough with minor pain in chest and dry mouth, a little sore in the throat. This added with the other weird skin rashes, flaky skin, etc. makes me so nervous.
I'm not having relations w/ my parents or sharing tricks but they have experienced similar symptoms...itchiness around body, fatigue, sweating, and my mom recently had the tears that hurt when they came out, and now dry mouth and a throat.
I guess it scares me when you feel someone else is having similar symptoms.
I know you said that I have nothing to worry about, but all these symptoms coupled with the fact I slept in the semen and the fear it might have gone to my urethra or that because of oral ( fear of gums bleeding) just makes me extremely nervous.
I've never had such symptoms until this incident.
I should be happy my 7 week came out NEG but then all this new things keep popping up.
Yes you can have thrush without being HIV positive. Thrush is not HIV specific. You can't diagnose thrush and you left out one important thing, you never said how bad it hurts, it's very painful. How on earth can your parents have symptoms? Are you having sexual contact with your parents? Do you share works with your parents? HIV is not transmitted by casual contact.
i'm scared I have something even though I probably don't but today I woke up and I think I have thrush of the throat because the foamy stuff on my tongue I took some out of my throat. I'm am so terrified right now.
The guy I was with was uncircumcised and I know yeast grows on the inside with poor hygiene. A few days after the incident, I could still taste weird stuff that I tasted when I sucked this guy. Could I have thrush even if I'm HIV- and how could it be severe so soon. I also took my 2nd test at 7 weeks and it came out NEG and I've read that it rarely changes if you're immune system is healthy. I'm not on chemo etc. and before this incident I exercised and was extremely healthy. I've lost weight too and my skin is extra dry, and I got a cold sore on below my lip.
Also, one of my parents is experiencing some of my symptoms and possibly my other parent. I know it's difficult to pass on, but what if I did
Please help and so scared and in such panic!!!
I want all of this to go away, yet it helps when there are folks like you to help.
Hello
You had a very low risk, if any at all.
I would advise to get a final HIV test 12 weeks post exposure, it will help you calm down without any questions about the duration.
Other STDs such as chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis etc. spread more effieciently than HIV. You may consider testing for these too.
In the UK, syphilis has emerged back, mainly in male homosexuals.
Thanks.
There was NO RISK from this incident. Your symptoms are non-specific.
The answer is not going to change. You didn't have a risk.
Even if my penis stayed in the liquid overnight, there is no risk? I'm trying to make sure I'm as accurate as possible. Because the tip of my penis stayed in the liquid over night.
Also, foamy white stuff tastes funny in my mouth sort of comes off when I brush, dry mouth is minor but present, I still get diarrhea, I have felt muscle aches and headaches, along with the itchy rashes and twitching when sleeping. All of this has had me worried, but I'll try to relax.
That makes me feel better, especially from you Teak as I have read your comments here before, but where are these symptoms coming from? I feel like my parents are beginning to have symptoms like mine. (I saw red bump on their cheek. They were itchy all over and my dad might have had a rash, and now my mom has a really sore throat). My mom scratched my rash on my head before my 3 week test and I am afraid if I was sick that she got herself sick and then spread it to my dad. Why does my tongue still feel foamy and taste funny or why do I have other symptoms? Either way, your response brings my the calm I need to really enjoy my holiday season.
You didn't have a risk and your test results are not going to change from the above situation.
