Hiv testing clarity, need help

Im a little confuse with all the testing abbreviations.  Could someone help?
Ok, i read alot of the post in the forums but need to make sure for myself.  I had a blood test, about 8 days after i had sex with csw(protected oral an vaginal),( 2 weeks b4 i had sex with another csw unprotected otal and protected vaginal), i called it a blood test( when they withdraw a tube if blood from arm)but dont know if theres anothe r name for it; neways,  stds and hiv came back negative, at 8 days, is it enough time to say that the results are reliable? The past few days i have been kinda ill, dont know if its cause by My worries or what. ? Is at 8 days, the resullts reliable?

You never had an exposure and didn't need testing.
