Please help

Hi
I hope you are doing fine. I had sex with a sex worker, when we started first she checked my gentials and wiped with wipes.
Also then she put condom on for bj and vaginal sex. And then she removed the condom.
After 2-3 days i was having abdominal pain so i started searching on internet and got worried with alot of information.
so after 5 weeks i went to hiv test and it came back negative.
The test name is Alere Determine Combo rapid test ( Antigen and antibody) 4th generation.
Also this took place in australia.
but after 6 weeks i had neck pain and he gave me anti inflammatory medicine and neck pain was gone after 1 day.

I would like to ask experts how safe i am and can i move on with anxiety and stress?

The only risks for HIV in adults are:
1) Having unprotected anal or vaginal sex, or
2) sharing intravenous needles with IV drug users.

You did not have ANY risk for HIV.  Your symptoms are most likely caused by your anxiety, but they are not related to HIV since you never had a risk for HIV.  Your negative test proves that you do not have HIV, even though the test was unnecessary.  It is time to move on from this event.

thank you for you answer.
I would like to ask is 4th generation rapid test conclusive at 28 days as like lab test.
Because after 8 weeks of this i had a flu and cough with breathing problem.
That sounds a lot like COVID or bronchitis.  It isn't HIV.  You don't HAVE HIV.

No matter how many different ways you ask the question, you had zero risk for HIV and your test was not necessary.  There is no reason to test for a disease that you cannot possibly have.
thank you for your kind reply.
one last question is 4th generation rapid test conclusive at 28 days as like lab test?
A pregnancy test will be conclusive in your case since it is impossible to be negative with it. There are no testing guidelines for the placebo test that you took.
I meant impossible to be positive with that test or any hiv test.

You can't get hiv when you use a condom. Wipes are a waste of time when trying to prevent hiv because hiv is dead in air so all she does is wipe dead virus. The test was a waste of your time.

You have hiv fixation because your last post makes zero sense due to having no hiv risk. You don't have any medical training and have latched onto the first disease that you can think of as if no other disease can exist.
Consider therapy to deal with your worrying if you can't accept the science.
Hello
I hope you are good.
Recently i had a glucose blood test done, the phlebomist was using a butterfly needle with tube connected vacutainer. My question is after 10 days of test i have fever, is there any chance if butterfly needle was reused?
because i was not able to see her removing it from package although there was plastic tube on needle which has to remove.

thank you.
Reread the best answer (again!) above on Dec 28. Butterfly tests aren't listed  in the only 3. Seek therapy for your hiv fixation. Next time you get blood work done tell the nurse in advance about your fears so they can show you exactly what they do. Then you won't have to worry for months afterward and come here telling us that you aren't sure what happened.
isnt butterfly same as Intravenous needle?
because she used vein to draw blood?
2. Meant injecting with the needle that you share. You drew which is not a risk. You need to stop thinking that hiv is everywhere infecting people who go into hospitals because you think the staff don't know how to do their job.
Next time you get blood work done tell the nurse in advance about your hiv fears so they can show you exactly what they do.
thank you.
so no need to test or worry?
Your situation involves personal contact with an object in air  ( hands, maybe spit etc. ). You will be happy to learn that you had no risk, because you can't get hiv from personal contact except unprotected penetrating vaginal or anal with a penis, neither of which you did and you didn't share hollow needles to inject with which is the only other way to acquire hiv - there are only 3 ways to get hiv. Analysis of large numbers of infected people over the 40 years of hiv history has proven that people don't get hiv in the way you are worried is a risk.
HIV is a fragile virus in air or saliva and is effectively instantly dead in either air or saliva so the WORST that could happen is dead virus rubbed you, and obviously anything which is dead cannot live again so you are good. Blood and cuts would not be relevant in your situation since the hiv has become effectively dead, so you don't have to worry about them to be sure that you are safe.
There is no reason for a person to test when they are safe. The advice took into consideration that the other person might be positive, so move on and enjoy life instead of thinking about this non-event. hiv prevention is straightforward since there are only 3 ways you can become infected, so next time you wonder if you had a risk, ask yourself this QUESTION. "Did I do any of the 3?" Then after you say "No, I didn't" you will know that it's time to move on back to your happy life.
No one got hiv from what you did during 40 years of hiv history and no one will get it in the next 40 years of your life either.  You can do what you did any time and be safe from hiv.
Her status is irrelevant when you have no exposure.
If you could get hiv from touching (or from dead hiv in her saliva) then everyone on the planet would have it by now because everyone is cut a few times every month and then they touch other people by mistake or shaking hands.
