Dear Doctor,
I am Male 28, I had two exposure one in aug09 & 2nd in feb10, i was using a condom in both exposure,in 1st exposure condom fails, and in 2nd exposure condom was perfect, however i had got fiver approx after 2 month after 1st exposure therefore my doc suggest me test, i done hiv test it comes negative (0.317) in oct (Method- FULLY AUTOMATED CLIA ON COBAS E411 using serum sample) (fiver goes way in 2days) and arount after 4 month after 1st exposure i got some more symptoms like Sore Throat, Joint pain, lack of energy, body pain, Muscle Pain and its continue for a month so my dr done 2nd test for my 1st exposure (after 5 months) in jan10 again its come back negative (0.392) with little high value with cdc & in cdc only lucocyte count come little more (11600). And during 2nd exposure condom was perfect but lady was bleeding badly due to her periods. After few day i had done unprotected sex with my wife. Approx after 2 weeks she had pain in upper back its remain for a week and gone again after few days its come back for a day, and now she had pain in her chest for last 5 to 6 days. Still i had some symptoms like muscle pain, sore & pain in throat, little itching in top of my panes skin and sometime Mild headaches... (Sir i can understand my wife symptoms because she had epilapsy and she got symptoms after she her episode)
Because of my symptoms my dr done some test like cbc, Vitamin B12, Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate. in CBC Leucocyte Count Come little more (11600), M.C.V Count comes low (81.8), Neutrophils come LOW (34.0), Lymphocytes HIGH (58.0), WBC (Relative Lymphocytosis, Basophils is in bottom line (0.0), ESR is Normal (6) & Vitamin B12 is LOW (153.8), Total C.P.K is normal.
Sir i want to know 1) weather all this is because of Hiv or other reason? 2) Should i need more Hiv test? what my Hiv Statue? Pls Pls Help... i am realy very worried...  thank you so much...

Welcome to the forum.  I will try to help, but I don't think it will make much difference in your anxiety.  You had extensive, factual, accurate advice on the HIV community forum. Your own doctor has repeatedly told you your tests are negatgive and you don't have HIV.  All a forum can do is state the facts, and the facts you will hear from me will be the same you alrady heard.  When the facts are not believed, or when anxiety and fear persist despite the facts, usually there is an underlying psychological problem that needs to be addressed -- such as guilt or shame over being sexually unfaithful.

You had low risk sexual exposures -- so low you didn't even need HIV testing, even though one condom broke.  It is unlikely either your sex partners had HIV.  Your HIV tests since then have all been completely negative.  The test results always can be believed, and symptoms almost never can.  Your symptoms don't matter, and your leukocyte count, and all your other blood tests are meaningless (and mostly normal anyway).

As you were told on the community forum, all your HIV test results are completely negative.  They PROVE  that something besides HIV is causing the symptoms and any lab test abnormalities.

Continue to work with your own doctor or clinic about the cause of your symptoms.  You do not have HIV.  Your symptoms are most suggestive of the physical manifestations of anxiety.  Ask your doctor if professional mental health counseling will help.  I suggest it out of compassion, not criticism.

Unlike the community forum, there will not be a strong of "yes but" or "what if" questions on this forum.  Please do not post any further comments.  There is nothing you can say that can change my opinion or advice.

Good luck--   HHH, MD
