Hi Doctor...
I had slept with 1 woman(ist time ever in life met her in a train) whose status may be positive(not sure)
on 4th of april 2008.we involve in deep kissing and mutual masturburation.after this incidence 2 weeks later i have got fever with sore throat that went away with antibiotics in 5 days.
After this i always think of getting affected(stressi.e lost interest in  all activities of life).after 1 month I came to US for work and sudenly realize white coating specially on back on tongue and feeling exhausted and some sweat at night time(body heat increase) not able to sleep may be bcoz of stress,lost lot of weight also.After this i checked on net and all these related to HIV.Then i went to doctor and get the HIV 1 and 2 test done after 11 weeks(23 June 2008).it came negative.but still i hav the symptoms but my doctor said it may be anxiety.Pls advice me....I m almost lost hope..

Thanks for ur quick reply but i slept nude with her and touched my penis with the hand with which i inserted.If she is positive what are the chances and worried thing is why these symptoms come...Pls advice i m very stresses notable to work also always thought i got it!!!!

There is no possible way you could have contracted the hiv this way. You don't have to worry about it. Then you have a negative hiv test also. The symptoms you describe are not hiv specific, in fact they are more like anxiety related. You do not have hiv, no way!

Thanks for ur reply making me uplifted but the real concern is why i still have the dry mouth and night sweat/night fever and
loss of weight.Should I go for another test apart from HIV 1 and 2.How conclusive these tests are after 10-11 weeks.
I know i m askin too much out of stress but i m goin thru very worst phase of my life.
Pls advice.

the chances of you getting HIV from this is very low, especially after getting HIV result as negative. Most results are 99% correct especially after 10-11 weeks. If you are still worried, I suggest you do another test to make sure.

Your symptoms are caused by something else..

Is this all due to anxiety....as these thoughts never go out of my mind even for single minute....always thought i go it as I licked her body and boobs also...So any chance thru that?Pls advice...

Is it all due to anxiety? It's not due to HIV. You didn't have a risk.

Do i need to go for testing again or try to forgot the incident as this is ist time i hav done this in my life with unknown person.I m felling very guilty after that...

Guilt may be your problem, but you can rest assured that HIV isn't. No, you don't need to go test.

How many times you were told that you WERE NEVER AT RISK OF CONTRACTING HIV? and you still repeat the same question? Move on with your life and forget about this incident. Nothing to be worried about. You were not at risk.

this is my last post...
I just want to know that HIV 1 and 2 testing after 10-11 weeks is how much conclusive.
As my tongue is still coated with dry mouth.Is there any chance of having +ive down the line..
Pls advice.

means i have white a coated tongue and also having dry mouth even after tested negative(hiv 1 and 2) after 10 weeks and 4 days.
I m still under extereme stress and anxiety not able to sleep also.After getting the results i got gud sleep for 2 days then again i serached on net its said dry mouth and white tongue is due to HIV.As i never had this problem in my life.only after that  incident it came.So thats why worried too much...Pls advice...

sandeep calm down i tested -ve at 16 and 18 weeks and i also have what i feel is a dry mouth and its due to being under stress for such a long period of time and some antibiotics i was taking. as for the white coating on the back of the tongue its normal and every one has it. you had no risk to start with and you tested -ve at 11 weeks.

aak001,  the following is the risk you came to the forums with. We don't want to hear anymore about your white tongue. You did not have a  risk of contracting HIV and this is an HIV forum.
