Possible Exposure and symptoms

I went to a massage parlor in Toronto on Aug 14. The whole session lasted for 25 mins. She was using some kind of lotion while doing so. she was naked throughout the session. Towards the end of the session she came on top of me and and sat on top of my penis but no insertion while I was lying on my back. My penis unprotected was facing upwards towards my head while her vaginal lips were clutching the shaft of my penis and she gave a small movement while she was holding from one hand. I was not sure whether she had vaginal secretions or not. If there was any secretions probably it would have reached the urethra while she was doing the hand job.
After 2 days I got some pain while urinating. I gave urine and blood samples. so, I was convinced that some secreations have entered my urethra. I just went to see the doctor it came negative today (on Aug 29). I took doxicycline for this whole week and it seems the pain reduced now.
But now after 14 days of this incident I'm having flu like symptoms. I'm checking the temperature it seems to be 36.4 C but still feeling feverish. I felt like vomiting but not quite successful. I had shivering also during the day time in office. Not sure, if that is due to AC. I'm totally confused and nervous. I went to check the STD clinic and they say HIV does not catch this way. Then I met the family doctor, after checking the symptoms she gave me Tamiflu which is anti viral. She did not know about this exposure. I'm now in total panic. How come I suddenly catch up with Virus. Only virus I could think of now is HIV. Please advise.

I thought of posting this long back after my 5 months test. If it could comfort anyone, I had almost all the symptoms suggestive of a positive result. Teak, Lizzie, vance and everyone here suggested me there is no risk. If they say no risk it really is. But still I was confused and worried a lot and had almost lost 20 pounds. I was living the life of hell. Guess what it finally turned out to be a negative. I had a negative VDRL test also.

Did a rapid test today. It came back negative. Just when what I thought my ARS symptoms are starting to get over. I had strong symptoms between 2-4 week. Today is end of my 5th week. Lot relieved now. I will continue to do my HIV testing until 3 month mark is over. Please pray for my conclusive results.
transmission requires PENETRATION. one last time...you were never at risk and this post has gone on long enough. NOTHING that you have described put you at risk for hiv.

My real risk is that, while I was lying down on my back, the massage lady was sitting on my penis, very closely. It may be possible that she might have climaxed and lot of liquids (not sure) from her genitals that may have reached my genitals. She was doing handjob simultaneously. Thats why I'm fearing. To complicate stuff, I got pain while urinating 3 days later and got treated for non specific UTI. From 12th days onwards I'm having persistant flue like symptoms, nausea, stuffy nose, congested chest, wheezing, loss of appetite, mild diarrhea etc. The only symptoms I dont have are rashes and swollen lymph nodes. I may have got any garden variety virus, but I dont think, it is flue season now in Toronto, at least in my known circles.
Lizzy/Team/Vance/Mike please excuse. I never wanted this thread go this long. I'm waiting for my 3 week result in couple of days. And I have a 5 week result this friday. I wont post until then.

i was also annoyed like you ..my 1st risk was same like urs, my 2nd risk was recieving unprotected oral sex & i got tested 1 week before for hiv & my results are negative..

If you notice my posts, I did not post very frequently. I know I'm depressed now, but I have courage to face whatever is the result. But I have strong symptoms which I cant relate to any other illnesses and it is continuing for more than 2 weeks from 12th day of exposure. I have a appointment for HIV testing this friday that will be my 5th week.
I'm expecting some kind words from expers like Teak/Lizzy/Mike/Vance..

I could not speak about this incident to them yet. They will be shattered if they know anything about this. I'm considering yourself as my mom now.
1. I read somewhere in this forum that chances of getting affected by HIV are more when you are infected by UTI. I was treated for UTI. Please tell me what are my chances considering the symptoms, fever, nausea, cold, stuffy nose, chest congestion, loss of appetite.
2. I'm in Toronto and the medical system here is like government service. I would say worst compared to the developing countries because government pays for treatment as I have visited many countries. I`m not sure the family doctors are well aware of different types of HIV testing etc. I asked 1 of the 3 doctors I met in last 3 weeks to do a blood test for HIV, Hepatitis, Syphilis etc. Asked him, what type of test he is doing like, Eliza, PCR, P24 etc. I`m not sure if he understood the difference. He said it is HIV testing, I will get result in 2 days, and I will be allright. How do I ask them to do the type of test I want to do. And Im finding very difficult to get appointment for rapid test here.

From 12th day of the exposure I was experiencing chills and felt body warm. Ever since then I'm feeling feverish and tongue tastes bad and white mostly in the morning. Feeling feverish in the evenings, stuffy nose and chest congestion. I met 3 different general physicians they are suspecting viral fever, cold and wheezing respectively.
I did not have penetrative sex. Just handjob and rubbing later on and handjob again. I'm too scared after I got pain in penis, which cleared after having doxycycline. In the STD clinic they were suspecting nospecific UTI. I took Tylenol and Tamiflu for fever initially. And now just taking Tylenol. And for chest congestion I'm taking Benylin; both seems not clearing. This was my first exposure ever in my life. I'm praying God every now and then for a negative result. Please pray for me.

After 3 weeks I have asked the family doctor to do a HV test. Expecting 3 weeks result (not rapid test) in couple of days. This Friday I will do a 5 week rapid test. I dont have other symptoms like swollen lymph nodes or rashes. I had mild diarrhea though along with other symptoms.
