Cut

Hi i was at a warehouse at work we are moving lots of boxes and i got this huge cut on my hands. Is there a concern? I  not sure if anyone else cut himself on it before me but i am sure that those boxes were handled all day. Tje cut w as caused by the carton box ( paper cut with a box)

Welcome to the Forum. There is no risk for HIV or other blood borne STIs from the cut you sustained. In the unlikely circumstance that someone else had cut themselves earlier on the same carton and that that person had HIV, the virus does not survive on inanimate objects.  No risk and no need for testing. On the other hand, you should be sure that you have had a tetanus shot within the past 10 years.  EWH
