Around 7 months ago i was in a pub and was a little hungover and i got a pint of beer. Upon closer expection i noticed a little red dot, a little bit bigger than a full stop, on the foamy head of it, i didnt think anything of it and dug it out with my finger and wiped it away and it was gone. It wasnt until recently i had realised that it could have been blood or something and could have been infected if some of it had gone into my drink. This was back in April of this year, in mid august i had the flu quite badly, infected chest, fever, fatigue and coughing fits(no sore throat). About 3 weeks later i was fine, also was coughing up some fluid but dissapeared over those 3 weeks. Then around late october i had noticed swollen lymph nodes on my neck, went to the doctor 2 weeks later and she also noticed i had swollen tonsils and they were quite red. I am awaiting the blood tests but i am terrifyed that i could MAYBE have picked up an HIV infection. Apparently these symptoms i have right now are similar to Glandular fever but i am a bit of a hypocondriac. Can any medical professional shed some light on this?
Thank you.
