Rapid duo test p24 And ab

Hi,

I had possibly, a unprotexted anal risk contact. I don t recall if there was penetration.
I tested at 4 weeks and at 6 weeks with RAPID duo test in institute for tropical medecine antwerp Belgium.
They say after six weeks its conclusive.
Is it a difference that it were rapid tests. I got resultaten after half An hour and there was blood taken for the tests.?

Kind regards,
K.

Your six week Duo test is conclusive. You do not have HIV.

It’s the same for the rapid duo tests?
Thanks for you’re replay.
There was blood taken,no finger prik.
If blood was drawn it was a standard HIV test. You must have done it at a diagnostic lab directly.

Test results usually don't take much time. Most labs return it with a higher TAT because of either transporting it to the diagnostic center or managing work backlogs.
It was at a labo. They filled a tube with blood. Then went in a machine. But is a rapid test. In dutch: sneltest. I had to wait six weeks. With the classical test i would only had to wait 4 weeks. When the nurse read out the results someone from the lab came for validation.
Yes. It is good to give you a conclusive at 6 weeks. You don't have HIV.
I wrote you last week about my daily headeaches. I already have them since week three after the risk. They scare me. I know i have to trust my results, but this never happend to me. I never had daily headaches , never. Thanks for you re service. This helped me a lot already.
