Rapid Test at 6 Months

I went for my "final" HIV test yesterday. Of course it was negative! However, when I asked the nurse if there was anyway I could still get positive she didn't fully answer.

I have had a total of 3 maybe 4 rapid HIV tests since my high risk exposure. One at 3 months, and now 6 months.

I believe I have a healthy immune system because I am rarely sick.

Can I finally KNOW I am HIV-?

I am not an IV user, I am not on chemo, and I have not received a transplant.
Thanks everyone!

you could have stopped testing at 3 months when a conclusive result is obtained.

you do NOT have hiv.

All tests were done at Planned Parenthood with 10 min results.

No point. I posted it before I knew you answered. Thank you so much Lizzie. All of you (you, teak, vance..etc) are so generous to provide us with answers when we need them the most. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to reassure us.

This forum has educated me more than any school or doctor has. Just to let you know :-)
