HIV tests reliable after CT scan?

I thought I was exposed to HIV four months ago; I wore a condom; no oral sex of any kind; only used my fingures to stimulate her; she was not a prostitute.

I had 4 (Eliza?) tests so far. First one after 1 month; second one after 1.5 months; third one after 2.5 months; fourth one after 4 months. all negative.

my question is: I though I had all the typical symptoms; severe stomach cramps; loss of appetite;  body aches, etc. since a doctor could not diagnose what the  stomack problem was, he suggested I take a CT scan. The scan test was after the first HIV test. My fourth HIV test was following 2. 5 months after the CT scan.

Is it possible that the final HIV test (after 4 months of possible exposure) would not be possitive because of CT scan? They also injected some dye into me. Would that affect the test? I believe still have some symptoms? Scared! Can somebody answer please?

Thanks so much. Gonka

There is no doctor on this forum.  You have to go to the medically moderated board and pay $15.  And if he thinks your question is without merit, repetitive, and has been answered innumerable times before, he'll delete it and you won't get your money back.  And indeed, your question is without merit and has been asked and answered about 100 times before.

You did not even need one test, let alone 4.  A single test done 3 months after an exposure is more than adequate for a conclusive result.  If you can't find any comfort in these words, you have problems far more serious than HIV.

CT scan dye does not interfere with the results of an HIV test.  Condom protected sex is protected sex.  Fingering does not result in contracting HIV regardless of cuts or scrapes or anything on your fingers.  It does not matter if she was on her period, in case you're getting ready to add that.

You had more than enough testing and do not need to test again.  If you can't put this simple episode out of your mind, seek out counseling.

I had sex with her; but wore a condom as I mentioned; but then I got all these symptoms; so was so scared; it began with stomach pain. I was also dieting then, not eating much. then nighsweats, and what not; I definitely thought I got HIV; but all tests negative after four months. Should I test again? Thanks,
