Risk Evaluation Please Help

I went to a massage parlor and received a feet massage.  The massues gave me a feet massage right after giving feet massage to another client.  I found a cut on my feet after receiving the feet massage.  I am wondering if I am at risk of getting HIV if the other client or the massues is HIV positive.

Thank you.

Hi,

I believe your question is anxiety driven. No worries however. A foot massage does not allow for transmission of HIV, even if you noticed a cut on your feet. HIV is transmitted through unprotected sex and needle reuse.

Stop worrying and enjoy your massages!
