Risk of HIV
I am wondering if some one can help me out here . I had sex with sex worker in May 2004 for me it was protected but i am still unsure and going through lot of stress. The way it started she gave me blow job but the condom was on and i believe i has precum than she came over me and took my penis inside at that i completely ejaculated but she abruptly took her self away from me w/o me holding the condom which causes condom slip out completely i freak out as i don't know the condom was slip when my penis inside her vagina or it slip when she was pulling herself. After a month i had outbreak in my upper lips that could be because of heat as i was in vegas in conference or something to do with HIV i don't know beside that there was no symptoms.After a year i started to develop some more symptoms like fatigue, blury vision,numbess and tingling in my hand after all testing they found i have thyroid because Auto immune thyrodytis can it be if i have HIV ?.No HIV test yet .
Since 4 months my wife is complaining about genital sore which doesn't look to be herpes but could be chancre , also fatigue she complain muscles and joint pain. I do have muscles and joint pain but no chancre for me that could be because of thyroid but not sure as i am thyroid is off not in lab range .
What do you guys thing the odds of us having HIV?.
Again that was only incident in my life which can be consider risk other than always with my wife.

You were never at risk. To relieve yourself of your anxiety go test collect your negative result and be done with it. There is no since putting yourself through it.
Just to add when she pulled herself i saw the condom was on her vagina outlet, so most likely when she was pulling herself the condom went with her rather stay on my penis.I don't have any symptoms like fever rash or lymph node or anything just outbreak after month on my upper lips as i said which could be because of heat in vegas as i was in conference.

how long can u live with or without medication, when u infected of HIV?

You were never at risk for HIV. You had protected sex until you incorrectly withdrew. Send you your wife to the doctor if she is not feeling well.
Unless the condom broke I wouldn't worry too much, but you should get tested.
