If I was a gay and had protected sex, would that mean risk ?
Well, all your calculations are again YOUR own understanding and perception of the subject, it has no factual validation.
The world doesn't run on permutation and combinations, P&C are nothing but a prediction (odds). One missing component whilst calculating and your permutations can go for a toss.
Lets get real and understand that being practical is how we live, being gay / straight has nothing to do with HIV.
FYI : Subtype C & E spreads more easily in heterosexual than homosexual men
Now, I'm not trying to take away any thing from you, I see that you're doing a good job but lets keep our advices limited to factual data only. You are not an HIV expert and your calculations have no validation.
Being gay / straight, unprotected anal / vaginal sex would always warrant testing and protected sex wouldn't.
Myth : HIV only affects gay men and drug users
IHIV can infect anyone. Babies, women, seniors over 50, teens, blacks, whites and hispanics. At risk behavior can lead to infection in anyone.
Do you think I can proceed to have unprotected sex in my current committed relationship. Are you that sure that cunilingus and vaginal fnger penetration (with a stipper - she also briefly grabbed my penis with her hand for 5 seconds or so) are so harmless that I wouldn't be acting inethically. I'm only on day 17 of exosure and am waiting if fear until I can take my test. I guess I'll do a 3 week duo...although I' not sure how good an indicator that is. Thoughts?
Yes, you did not have a risk, please move on, bud !
You could get tested if you want to, you can expect only a negative.
thanks mike. Your advice is reassuring. I say you speaking of the 28th day beign the best for the DUO test. What about 20 days or 21 days. Is a DUO reliable at 3 weeks? Take care bud.
