Sex with Prostitute

I had sex with a prositute on the 15th of December.  I have never done anything like this before.  I am very worried about STD's including HIV.   During the encounter I had a condom on.  However, I went limp halfway through.  She took the condom off and put on anohter one and we finished up.  I am very scared and have not slept for days.  I went to the Dr. whom prescribed Truvada for 28 days.  The phrmacy had to order it so I can pick it up later today.  The Dr. told me that my risk is 1:1000 or .05%.  With Truvada it reduces that risk by 80%..  I am almost thinking that this could be more along the lines of an insurance policy.  I also shaved before I went and think that I could have had a lesion at the very bottom of my shaft during the session.  Please advise..

You wore a condom, the condom didn't fail, you didn't have a risk, and you didn't need PEP. It's not who you have sex with that makes it high risk it is WHAT you do that makes it a higher risk. You didn't have any risk because you used a condom.

because the condom did not fail...that's why.  your penis had a protective barrier on it.

I am not sure why I have had replys as to that I do not have NO risk.  Can this be explained?  The dr and other websites state that there is a risk especailly with high risk partners.
