Condom break before vaginal intercourse and removed with 4-5 seconds

Hi All,
I went to a commercial sex worker and while starting the vaginal intercourse, condom broke and immediately we removed in 4-5 seconds. After this i was petrified and started pep in 20 hours although doctor said it's low risk. I completed full course of 28 days. Now coming to actual question, I took that sex worker for hiv testing and her hiv rna pcr test after 12 days of exposure came back Undetectable and her Hiv duo combo test after 30 days of exposure came back as negative. Does this mean she is negative during exposure and so will I?
Thank you

Hi All,
I understand that I'm being anxious with irrational doubts. But I could not help. Coming to the point, I completely trust that hiv duo combo is conclusive after 6 weeks. I even moved on after my partners negative result. But suddenly thoughts are coming to my mind whether I can trust those lab results or not. I am from chennai in india. Mike sir, Can you please clarify about the reliability of lab tests. I booked through drsafehands online and did test in Techmed laboratories. This lab is nabl accredited. As you can see above, different tests at different points of time came back negative. But all are done in same lab. Can I believe that lab and desafehands and be at piece or should test in any other lab? Please suggest me sir. It's a humble request. Thank you all

Your problem is not disease, it is fear of disease which is a bit of a mental issue at this point. As you put it "irrational" and "sudden thoughts" This is an hiv prevention forum, not a mental health forum.  See your doc or a therapist for a one on one discussion.
It seems that no amount of explanation has helped you so see a professional instead of wasting your life in fear on chat forums
Sure sir,
I already met my doctor and he advised to follow some things which I am trying to do. But this is my genuine doubt and if this doubt is clarified, then there won't be anymore doubts and I can be at peace. So I asked this question to Mike sir as he might have knowledge about indian labs. I will leave this situation once I know the answer. Thank you so much for your reply sir
Continue to work with your doctor.

Hi people,
I just received the rna pcr qualitative test result of my partner after 6 weeks of my exposure. The result is undetectable. With the negative duo combo at 6 weeks and un detected result of rna pcr at 6 weeks of my partner. I'm completely out of risk and move ahead with my life right? Thank you so much for all your support. It is really helpful

RNA PCR is not intended to be a primary diagnostic test.  Having said that, the DUO at 6 weeks is 100% conclusive.  You do not have HIV.
Thank you so much for the response

Hi everyone,
After the negative 4th generation duo combo test after 30 days, 6 weeks duo combo test also came as negative today for my partner. Now it is conclusive that she is negative during my exposure right?. Now I can move on with my life any doubt right? Thank you all

You're literally just repeating the same questions again. Either accept the answers you've been given or go get tested yourself to see for yourself the negative result.
Thank you for the response

The undetected RNA PCR result and negative 4th generation antibody test suggests that your partner was HIV negative.

RNA PCR can detect small amount of viral load, if it was present at the first place. Also, the test is adept to detect as early as 72 hrs post exposure plus a negative duo test affirms no presense of p24 antigen or antibodies.

You shouldn't have been on PEP for a vaginal condom breakage exposure, it is only meant for individuals with high risk, essentially for some one who has had unprotected sexual intercourse with a known positive.

Though unnecessary, for your own peace of mind you can take a test at 28 days post completion of PEP with a 4th Generation HIV test. The probability of you stumbling across a stack of notes amounting to Rs. 10,00,000 tonight is remarkably higher than getting a positive result from this test.

Sorry for repeating. Do you really think I should take a test? I am planning to leave this incident and move on in my life. Honestly I'm scared to get tested for Hiv. That's why I requested my partner to get tested.
She already tested conclusively negative so your question and your fear makes no sense. I am sure you are familiar with virus theory that you can't just get a virus from nowhere.

Thank you so much for your response. Sorry for reiterating my question. Did you see of any case where 4th generation combo test which is negative at 4 weeks changed to positive at later point of time? And also from your knowledge how efficacious is PEP if taken within 24 hours?. Thank you so much for help.

Your problem is not disease, it is fear of disease which is a bit of a mental issue at this point. If you can't get over this, you might want to see your doc or a therapist for a one on one discussion.
You can get E Coli from any burger but you don't test for that after every meal nor do you do daily body imaging for cancer, so your priorities are misplaced when you worry about hiv that you don't have.
Thank you so much for your suggestion. I agree that I'm getting paranoid and should move on with my life. Could you please answer the two questions I asked for my sake. After that I will completely leave this issue and move on. Sorry to pester you. Thanks

Yes, so you need to move on because you are both safe.

Thank you so much for the response.
Do you think there is any requirement for 6 weeks duo combo test?
Nothing to test for.
