Should I be concerned

About a month and a half ago I had unprotected sex. Three weeks after the event my right lymph node in my neck got slightly swollen. I also began to experience post nasal drip and slight pressure in my ear. My mucus is clear when I blow my nose. I also have NOT experienced any fever, sore throat, aches, nausea or prolonged headaches. Should I be concerned about possible HIV infection?

Also, how long should I wait to get tested, and will my being sick affect my test results...false positive...???

Should u be concerned! Well depends....if u dont know the girl and u cant ask her is she gets checked regulary or knows her status? maybe yes a lil concerned! But put it this way, 1 time unprotected vaginal sex 1/2000 if she has hiv! ask her..? see what she says? and then go from there! Always a good idea to be checked if you havent been in a while.

And man just look through some of the archives on here, see some people with there symptoms and then they test negative! Since ive been on here no one has tested positive! and alot worse case scenerios than urs! It can happen but unlikely!

Post nasal drip has nothing to do with Hiv Symptoms, its very common this type of year. Go get Nasonex its a spray, spray in ur noise twice once a day both sides. If they were symptoms..the lymph nodes in ur body would be hurting almost all over, you would have a fever most likely and yes it would put u in ur bed for at least 2-3days! and maybe a rash..! I had what u had and a bit of a sore throat..doctor said that can be caused by post nasal drip too!

Your symptoms don't suggest HIV.
A single test 3 months after your risk will answer all your concerns.

All related symptoms, but I doubt VERY seriously related to HIV.
