So concerned - special case of ********

Thanks the forum and the two great doctors - I've been learning to keep safe sex.

This time, with an Asian CSW in CA,
No intercourse at all, just blow job and "breast job";
Condom was most intact during the whole process. However,

After some strong blow job for ~5min, the CSW started to rub my penis & scrotum with her boobs. The rub was very strong. After around 2min, I suddenly found that there was nothing on my penis, and the original condom was about 1 inch away, so obviously she rubbed it off...

I became so scared at the time. Though I did not see any blood in her mouth, but the worst case is that if she has HIV, her saliva was then on the condom, and when the condom was off, the saliva could touch & get into my penis?

Afterwards when I talked with her, she told me that she's only been CSW for half a year, had never got tested, and sometimes did unprotected "oral" sex (she said she do not do unprotected genital sex but I still doubt...)

Based on my described experience, can you tell me if there is any tiny chance that HIV can be transmitted, assuming she has HIV (the worst case scenario). Then, do I need any type of test?

Thank you soooooo much...

Welcome to our Forum.  I will be glad to comment.  Congratulations on your commitment to condom protected sex.  It will keep you safe.

With regard to the exposure that you describe, it sounds as though your partner was relatively unlikely to have HIV however, even if she did, there is no reason for concern.  There are NO cases in which anyone has gotten HIV from either receipt of oral sex or from rubbing their penis with a partner's breast.  This was a no risk exposure. there is no reason for concern and no reason for testing.  EWH

Dear doctor, thanks again for your input. Once last reassurance. You said "There are NO cases in which anyone has gotten HIV from either receipt of oral sex", but I read through some previous posts and noticed that you and another doctor said that oral sex is considered to be a very very low risky exposure. I think low risk is not no risk. Can you please explain this?

These questions are a bit paranoid.  There are no instnaces in which HIV has been transmitted in the fashion you describe, even if a partner's saliva gets on your penis.

Studies have shown that even most commercial sex workers do not have HIV.   In California unless there is some other fact, only about 1% of commercial sex workers have hIV.

I repeat, you are not at risk for HIV from the exposures you describe..  You did not need testing but the OraQuick test you perfromed proves that you were not infected.  EWH

Dear Edward,

(sorry I accidentally clicked "No" for "was this helpful"... it is truly an accident)

Thank you for your response. I do not think my partner was unlikely to have HIV because as I said, she had not done any test before and she had unprotected sex with multiple people (so why do you think she is unlikely to carry HIV?)...

Also, I would like to hear your specific analysis to my case. I said the condom, with her saliva on it, was very possibly touched my penis - can you tell me is there any chance that HIV can be transmitted?

Besides, I have been given several other hand-jobs by different prostitutes. Sometimes she used fingernail strongly (what if her fingernail contains blood?), sometimes she used hot towels to clean my penis (what if the hot towel used by previous customer was not washed properly?), and sometimes she washed my anus very strongly but I have some haemorrhoids (what if her hand touched the blood coming from my anus?) Do you think all these cases are 100% safe, both theoretically and practically? I really need your reassurance of this!

Recently I developed lots of pimples on my legs. I am really afraid of whether they are the indicator my being affected by HIV. What I can guaranteed is that:

1) I've only done some unprotected "HAND" job
2) I've done protected genital sex twice, with proper and success use of condoms, and I tested myself once with the OralQuick In-Home test after 12 weeks which was negative (is it reliable?)

Am I 100% free of risk??

Thanks!
