HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.
HIV is transmitted by;
Unprotected penetrative anal and/or vaginal sex
Sharing works with other IV drug users
Mother to child
Thanks. I get anxious really quick. That helped a lot
It doesn't matter even if it was infected blood which is highly unlikely anyway,but if it were you have to realize that HIV becomes inactive once exposed to air and the outer layer of the viral particles become damaged and are unable to infect you.
It is not possible for this forum to address every possible "what if" scenario that pops into member's heads. This situation that you described is not at all realistic. Even if it were, you had no risk for HIV. Please do not spend your time imagining "what if" scenarios - it isn't productive for you or for other members of this forum.
