one source for hiv window period

Dear lizzie lou
I found a  source for 6 months hiv window period. what do you think about that ?
"After a possible HIV exposure:
An HIV test will not detect the presence of the HIV virus immediately after exposure. Statistics show that 96% (perhaps higher) of all infected individuals will test positive within 2 to 12 weeks. In some cases, this may take up to six months."

do not start new posts ! ! ! ! !

THE ONLY PPL THAT MIGHT NEED TO TEST OUT FURTHER THAN 3 MONTHS ARE THOSE ON CHEMOTHERAPY FOR CANCER TREATEMENT, THOSE TAKING ANTI-REJECTION DRUGS, AND CHRONIC LONG TERM IV DRUB ABUSERS.

DO YOU FALL INTO ANY OF THOSE CATEGORIES?????

3 MONTHS IS WHEN ONE CAN OBTAIN A CONCLUSIVE RESULT.  DO NOT CONTINUE TO POST ABOUT THIS.  FACTS ARE FACTS
