Sperm washing and IVF

Hi. My good male friend is HIV positive, in relatively good health and taking his meds.
He is interesting in having a baby with a woman who is HIV negative and has heard about 'sperm washing' where the child could be biologically his with virtually no risk to the woman or child.
Does anyone in the United Kingdom know about this. Should his first point of call be his doctor or a private clinic. Money is not an object.
Thanks, Eloise.

sperm washing is safe and effective.  He would want to discuss this firstly with his infectious disease specialist or doctor treating his HIV.  they will then know how to direct you.  It will require a concerted effort between IVF specialist, HIV doc and OBGYN.  Good luck, that is exciting stuff wish you all the best.
