Gracias

If I correctly understand the Spanish, you are concerned that your test was done on the text kit's expiration date.  This makes no difference.  Such expiration dates are very conservative; the test would probably be accurate even 5 years later.

Do your best to move on with your life with no worry.

Buena suerte.

The nature of your sexual relatoins makes no difference, and your symptoms make no difference.  The HIV test result proves you were not infected, even if the exposure was high risk.

But I think I understand your question and can help if you understand English, or if someone can help you translate.

Every kind of HIV test is 100% accurate if done more than 3 months after the last possible exposure -- and with rare exceptions, by 6-8 weeks.  (For more detail, see this thread:  http://www.medhelp.org/posts/show/1704700.)  Your negative result 6 months after your last possible exposure is 100% reliable.  There are no medical conditions or external factors that change the reliability of the test.

White coated tongue is rarely due to candida (thrush).  And even if you really have oral candida, it isn't due to HIV.  The HIV test results overrules all symptoms and exposure history.  Coated tongue is common with many minor health conditions.  If it continues or you remain concerned, see a doctor.  But you should not worry at all about HIV.

I hope this has helped.  Buena suerte--  HHH, MD

I'm pretty sure that if you are wanting a response from Dr. José, you will need to write your question under the International Forum.

However, if you clearly tested after the 6 months [with an approved test], your candadis is irrelevant in this situation.  You also never stated what your risk was either.  Besides, ARS symptoms [if applicable] would not be isolated solely to candadis and a white tongue, you would have other symptoms as well, like a high fever, etc.
