Concerned about symptoms

hello,

despite the low risk or the situation, there are a few things concerning me that i would like to ask:

last january i received unprotected BJ from a CSW, i know the low risk of this, but my symptoms after that worried me and made me think of that.

45 days after exposure, ganglion swelling with no pain under muy chin
never had a ganglion like this ever
2 months later, rash on penis that could have been candida, lasted like a month an a half and dermatologist said just irritation but not sure, red dots and burning in skin sensation, could have been stress too

1)do i need testing?

2)can i keep unprotected with girlfriend without worrying?(she was a virgin months ago and she bleed the first time, which was unprotected.

Thanks in advande

I do feel that you have no medical reason for testing. if you are comfortable with this assessment, then there is no need to test.  EWH

Welcome to our Forum.  I'll try to help.  As you already know, your risk for HIV from receiving oral sex is very low- less than 1 infection for every 10,000 acts of oral sex and that is the case only if your partner has HIV which is statistically unlikely.  Thus your chance of having HIV is terribly low.  On the other hand, I appreciate that sometimes after an exposure that a person wishes they did not have, there is a tendency to wonder about infection, no matter how low the risk.  For this reason, I suggest that you go on and get a test for HIV.  I am confident that the test will be negative and when it is, you will have proof that you did not get HIV and can stop worrying.

Please be aware that coincidental problems line a swollen ganglion or lymph node or a penile rash can have many, many causes and that while some people who have HIV get such things, they also occur commonly in person who do not have HIV either.  In fact most people who have such problems do not have HIV.

Thus, in answer to your questions:

1)do i need testing?
There is no need for testing from a medical perspective however a negative test may give you peace of mind and, for that reason it is a good idea for you. Just promise yourself that you will believe the results when you get them.

2)can i keep unprotected with girlfriend without worrying?(she was a virgin months ago and she bleed the first time, which was unprotected.
Yes, you can.
I hope you find my comments helpful. EWH
