HIV and BJ's...

I know I have posted a few question in here so I appologise....but I just need some reasuranse until I feel better and I know guys like Teak and regularjoey have the knowledge to get me through this.  I recieved a BJ from a chinese massage person....I thought it was going to be a regular massage but guess what it wasn't,  if no one has ever gotten HIV from this why do people like me worry about it?.  Also I am on my way to Hong Kong and they have a rapid test over the counter in pharmacies...should I get one or do you guys recommend against it.  The test is made in Canada and has many approvals throughout theworld.  Please give me your insight cause in Canada where I from only has one place to do the rapid test and unless you have had unprotected sexual intercourse they will not test you.  My situation involve a women on her period and I am afraid she touched my penis cause I had a few little red dots on my penis after that would not come off with a wet towel so I fear it was blood...but the clinic in my city says no risk but I feel I want a test for reassuarnce but hate the 2 week wait.

I can't thank you guys and gals for all the advice, it has helped a whole bunch.  I was o.k until I read that article cause after she finished I wiped my penis off then washed it and now I am thinking that I could have massaged blood in to my mucus membrane of my foreskin cause that is where I saw the red dots.  Maybe those red dots where irritation from the handjob but I am not sure.

I saw some crazy numbers for the oral test, 98% or something - that's specificity, the sensitivity is fine.
Don't get me wrong, it's a great test for many reasons - but if you don't have to take it, don't take it.

Rapid test oral 99.3%
Rapid test blood 99.6%
Blood 99.8%
All are good, if you narrow it down to the point % nothing will satisfy you. You might think about what RegJ said though, you would freek out with a false POZ. I have though of that also. You really don't need any testing but its your life.

Rapid tests are just as reliable as a standard ELISA test. All positive results have to be confirmed and yes standard ELISA test have false positives also.

Why do people like you worry about it?  It's called "guilt".  You are not proud of your actions, but look, at least you did NOT put yourself in any danger of HIV.  Yes, as you realize now, one wrong decision can ruin your life forever.  But this wasn't one of those decisions, you are going to come out of this fine.

Yes, I do recommend against the use of a rapid test for people like you.  The odds of a false positive result with that test are far greater than the odds of a true positive result, which would cause you much more anxiety and problems.  So my advice is, if you are going to test at all, take a regular blood test.

It doesn't matter which test you take when. Assuming you are not previously positive, it will, without any doubt whatsoever, turn up negative. HeIl, pee your toilet. If the water turns a rainbow color, you're positive. If not, you're negative. That's how sure it is you cannot contract HIV this way.

MOVE ON WITH YOUR LIFE.
