am i at risk of hiv infection?

i had a protected vaginal sex with a csw around dec 16,2017 who after which i discover she was on her menses and i had a tiny open pimple that is open but not bleeding. on the 28 dec, i started having hot-flashes that lasted for two day with headache and stiff neck and then fever of about 37.7celsius followed that lasted for just a day. recently wife developed a very severe fatigue and headache that lasted for a week, then a fever that lasted for a day without medication, dry cough, severe catarrh and chills. she also has a hormonal imbalance(pcos for a long) and has been having constant vaginal bleeding for like two months now. should i be worried about an exposure? i have really not had a good sleep for almost a week because of this. please help

I did a rapid finger prick test at exactly 45days after my exposure and it's negative.  How accurate is that?   Kindly reply me asap,  anxiety is killing me. Thanks

As noted, you did not have a risk for HIV.  Therefore, any test you take will be accurate, conclusive, and negative.  We wish you the best as you move on from this event.

This is not a risk at all.  The only way adults can get HIV is from unprotected vaginal or anal sex or sharing of IV drug needles.  That's it.  HIV is not diagnosed by symptoms and you never had a risk so your symptoms or your wife's are not related to HIV.  You do not need to test and this should answer all of your questions.
