Test reults and symtoms

Good Afternoon doctor, This is my last post. I had an sexual unprotected encounter on dic 7.07
I have done the following test.
Goverment clinics:
Oraquick 42,74 days. Saliba swab
Oraquick 3 mons saliba and blood from finger
Oraquick 4 months blood from finger
Oraquick 4 months and 1 week saliva
Oraquick Advance 5 months and 1 week - blood from finger @GMHC
Oraquick Advance 5 months and 3 weeks..May 27.08- Saliva @ GMHC " Gay man health center"
I had have call NY spanish hot line...stated 3 mons conclusive including using oraquick
Mass hot line 6 weeks conclusive but they use 3 months to include everyone who can have a weak immune system from a deases ie.. chemo
NYS satated 6 months
This window period frame is making me crazy..I had 1 week high fever, and i still have visible skin rash.
In other to be in the 6 mons mark i need to wait 11 more days from my last sexual encounter on dic 7. 07
If i suffered from ARS, 5 months and 3 weeks is not sufficent time for the antibodies to show up in oraquick advance?
I'm a normal person, i don't think i have a weak immune system, i dont use drugs, the only thing i can say is that i used to drink to much prior the sexual encounter like..2 mons before teh encounter.
I used to part on saturday until sunday for almost 2 months, could this be the reason that i have not yet develop antibodies/ or enough antibodies to be detected?
It's treu that oraquick advance is a 1st generation elisa ?
I have read 6 weeks w. Elisa 3rd/4th generation. Maybe this is why oraquick is not picking my antibodies? I say this because i never had fever like that and i also never suffer from skin rash.
5 months and 3 weeks is not enough time a oraquick advance/ or 1st generation elisa?
Doctor have u used this test and what's the window period that u used using this test.
Thank you for you support and time.
Last opraquick advance 5.27.08-----5 months and 3 weeks from sex risk!

Alienshadow is correct.  The Oraquick is used to give you quicker results and not make you wait.

Believe the tests.   More testing for you at this time is a waste of time.

I cannot explain your symptoms- that is beyond the scope of this site.  you should see your health care  provider and get their assistance on this.

Please- no more repetitive questions.  They will be deleted.  EWH

They use the oraquick because for one you get results in 10 to 20 mins and they are reliable results plus they are FDA approved test the elisa test can take 2 to 5 days for the results why sit around with more worries when rapids are just as reliable with quick results

Sorry Dr Hook  if I am wrong about this

Thank you or your time, but i think i suffered from AS, du to the high fever and the skin rash. I dont want to be the 1 in 1000000.
In you experience have you seen someone changing their resuts after 5 months and 3 weeks?
why all the clinics provide oraquick isntead of an Elisa?
everybody says 3 mons and elisa, but never 3 mons and oraquick.
Thank you for your time and expertise.
So how cna i explain the fever and the skin rash if it's not due to hiv?
how can i have ars and not showing antibodies in oraquick advance?
In you experience as a doctor for so many years. 5 mons and 3 weeks is enough time if i was infected for my body to produce hiv antibodies for a test as oraquick to pick them up?
I'm so scared b/c of the symptoms that i had after 2 weeks of the sex encounter with a female and theses negative results!!!. Should i test at 9 mon-1 yr? or just stop to worry about this scenario?
thanks!

One, short answer to your question.  You do not have HIV.  Repeated negative tests have shown this.  The results are definitive in all but the very highest risk persons at three months- you have had multiple tests since then, all negative.  the reason your tests are not picking up antibodies is because you do not have HIV.  It is time for you to stop worrying about your exposure nearly six months ago and move on with your life.  EWH
