Really really worried

I have a small cut/laceration just above my bumhole.   I had sex with a guy on Saturday night (no penetration took place); this guy rubbed himself up and down me and ejaculated.  When I got home, I felt quite moist.

My question is:

1. What is the risk from the semen coming into contact with the cut?
2. I was sitting in the car for about an hour, therefore, the semen was touching the cut throughout the whole journey – what is the risk?

I am sorry to post again but was wondering if you could explain to me why there is no risk involved.   Its not that I don't believe you (quite the opposite), I just need you to explain to me why there is no risk.  I have spoken to an HIV organisation, here in the UK, over the phone and they have told me there is no risk either; they explained to me why with regards to a "cut" - I would just like your slant on things.

Thanks in advance.

I completely take on board that my risk was very very low - almost zero.  However, since it happened (8 days ago), I have been feeling really tired, sweaty and have a sore throat?

Thanks in advance.

agree, "moistness" means nothing.  You cannot acquire HIV unless you have sex anal or vaginal, (penetration) or inject drugs with used works.  Other than those and mothers milk which you are not at risk for you are fine.  You would need a gaping actively bleeding wound in all likelihood to come in contact with infected semen to get HIV.  I did not read your first post but I assume like many you are only guessing that your partner had HIV.  if you can get in touch with him find out to put your mind at ease.  NO ONE EVER IN THE HISTORY OF HIV HAS CONTRACTED IT IN THIS FASHION Ok?  I used caps for emphasis.....lol  You are truly fine.  Good luck, I wish you all the best.

I am sorry for my excessive posting - I do realise people can get carried away (myself included) with regards something like HIV.  I am just very very anxious and have quite a lot of thoughts going round in my head.   I just wanted to clarify the situation surrounding the "moistness" in my bottom on my last posting and, after clarification, was going to leave it at that.

Once again, I do apologise if my posting(s) are excessive.

I am also worried about the "moistness" at my bum area.   When I came home, I had to wipe my bottom because it was all moist, I presume this must have been sweat or such like from sitting in the car for an hour, although I have never had to wipe my bottom after being in the car before.  What could this moistness be - I don't think the guy came.

Thanks again

I did not have unprotected anal sex - there was no penetration at all.  I am just worried about the cut.

Let me reword that. HIV does not stay active outside its host.

It makes a difference if you have had unprotected anal sex or not. HIV does not survive outside it's host.

Does it make a difference if the cut was only a few hours old?

I am sorry to re-post but I am very anxious about possible HIV transmission.

Does it depend on how big the cut is?   The cut was just a few hours old.

Your question was answered in your first post. You were not at risk.
