Testing Guidance Needed

Hello Doctors,
I've read through hundreds of your brilliant replies trying to put my mind at ease about my status but I could really use some help with a couple of issues I'm having.  I'm a hetero male and five weeks ago I received unprotected oral from an American woman in a US strip club.  I also fingered her vagina and anus.  I've been living in hell ever since.  I went to my primary care Dr six later b/c i was having urination problems, burning and frequency, but no discharge.  He gave me Metronidazole, Doxycycline, and Ciprofloxacin for seven to ten days.  My urine test came back clean even before the meds and after several day no more pee problems.  I was tested for hiv by him 6 days after said exposure via Elisa/Western Blot it came back neg.  I developed thrush while on antibiotics and was given Fluconazole.  I suffer from OCD and panic disorder.  On a recommendation form my doc,  I went to a Phycharist who placed me on Lexapro and Adivan.  Soon after taking the Lexapro  I began noticing little pains under my arms, under my chin and in my elbow creases. They seem to come and go.  I didn't feel any real swelling though.  I thought about ARS and lymph nodes and my anxiety has gone through the roof.
My questions are given my brief history description and my mental health status.  Which testing course of action should I take?  I'm not sure how i will respond to a false positive let alone a positive at all so where is the best place to take a test that could council me immediately if that would happen.

Thank You

You had accurate replies on the HIV community forum.  The chance your partner had HIV was very low and even if she had it, HIV is rarely if ever caught by oral sex and never by fingering.  Your symptoms don't suggest HIV.

"Which testing course of action should I take?"  From the standpoint of risk or symptoms, you do not need testing at all. But if you remain nervous despite this reassurance, have a standard HIV antibody test about 6 weeks after the event. It will be negative.  Have a lab-based test, not a rapid test -- then there is no worry about false positive results.

Let's not have any "yes but" or "did you really mean it" questions or comments.  There is no information you could provide that would change my opinion or advice.

Regards--  HHH, MD
