Saliva is not infectious. PERIOD...I don't care if their VL is in the millions. On top of that, saliva contains over 12 enzymes and proteins that inhibit the virus from being able to infect.
What I dont understand is why I hear recieving oral sex is not a risk. What if:
- the person was seroconvering
- that peson had small amounts of blood in her mouth
At that point the fluids in the mouth can be infectious..
what about the world wide study over the pas 20 years. 40+ million infected and not a single documented case fro just "ORAL". that seems pretty assuring, seeing they can't prove a single case out of 40 million.

you can not rule out after that study, that it is impossible for out oral transmision to accur.
What is it that you don't understand?
That saliva durring seroconvertion can constitute a danger.
