Is this a bactrim side effect?

by blake82, Dec 14, 2009 03:51PM
Hello, about 7days ago I went to the dr. For some boils that I had and he prescribed me bactrim smz-tmp. I have been taking them 6 days now but yesterday (day 5) I noticed I had oral thrush out of no where, I only have a day left to take last pills but I was wondering if 1. Is oral thrush a side effect of bactrim? 2. Should I discontinue using and call my dr? 3. How long does it take to go away?
I don't know if this is the right place to ask this question but I need help teak or Liz anybody

some antibiotics can cause thrush.  call your doctor to discuss what HE would suggest.

this forum is hiv specific.
