Touched disposable needle; no blood- HIV?!

I touched a disposable needle by accident, but no blood or visible puncture hole was present. Am I still in risk of getting a disease like HIV?

I laid my hand between the cracks of the bleachers at school, and unknowingly felt something weird and sharp touching me. It turned out to be a really thin needle that was inside the plastic hub, 3/4 the length of the hub.

Last question, can the needle that was used to be injected into someone, be pushed back inside the plastic hub? (I guess as a "safety" feature") ?

Thank you.

What were the circumstances surrounding you touching a disposable needle "by accident?" Was it just the needle or the entire syringe? Was this needle/syringe used on you?
Your picture did not come through, so I don't know exactly what you're referring to.

I worked in a hospital for many, many years and got "needle stuck" more times than I care to remember. But I absolutely KNEW when it happened just as YOU would know.

IF you had stuck yourself, it would hurt, you would no doubt see a drop of blood and if you squeezed it and did not see any blood, then I don't believe you "stuck" yourself.

I think your anxiety is getting the best of you! NO RISK

This is what I touched by accident. However, there was no long needle sticking out to the right, like in the picture. Do you know what I could have touched then? It was a really thin needle-like inside the plastic part.

mmmmmmm , if you pricked your self you will feel some pain and you will see some blood if you couldn't see any blood after squeezing your finger then you didn't prick your self but still i cant tell you if you pricked yourself or not i can only say you had no risk if you didn't prick yourself .

If I had pricked myself when I touched it, would my finger have bled? I squeezed my finger and no blood came out.
