Hi Doctor...this is my situation. i am a 25 year old male and i believe to have contracted herpes a while ago. About a year ago i started to notice i was getting warts on my head. Then soon after warts near the base of my penis. More recently i contracted a wart on my finger and my dermatologist said that i should get and HIV because warts on head are very "peculiar". As for my sexual history. I recall receiving oral sex from 4 different women, two of who I ejaculated in their mouth. This is after the warts started to appear. I have also had unprotected vaginal sex with two females but only for a few seconds. My question is do you think my situation warrants HIV/ AIDS. and also if i have contracted either virus what choices do i have regarding my health
No did not see the part about the brief unprotected sex. A test 3 months is warranted for this low risk. I do agree, that the more disconcerting thing about this post is his apparent disregard for his sexual partners as he allows them to suck his wart encrusted penis and also engages in unprotected sex. Genital warts are caused by HPV. HPV is highly contagious and can cause cervical cancer. The only truly risky thing this poster did was put hs sex partners at significant risk for acquiring HPV. That's the ulitmate in selfishness as he has the unabashed nerve to come to this board asking and worrying about his own supposed risk. Unbelievable!!
Dunno if you saw he said he had unprotected sex with 2 women, albeit for only a few seconds each. From reading this forum, sounds like a low risk exposure, but an exposure nonetheless. Recommend testing at 3 months for conclusive result, and in the meantime keep it in your pants, as you apparently don't have much regard for the women you're using (ejaculating in their mouths after the warts appear??). Use condoms for everything from now on
As you were told, your activities do not present a real risk for HIV. As a sexually active person, you should become familiar with the risk for transmitting HIV and other STDs. In this case, what you don't know can hurt you.
Always remember to properly and consistently use condoms for anal/vaginal intercourse until such time as you are in a mutually monogamous relationship with someone who is conclusively negative. Everyone who is sexually active outside of a monogamous relationship should have an annual STD panel, including HIV.
