Uncircumcised Male Worried About Risk

Okay, okay, before everyone berates me I wholly admit I was a fool and I won't even bother making excuses for myself. I had unprotected vaginal sex with a dancer I met at a strip-club a few nights ago.  The intercourse lasted a very brief time, probably a minute, maybe a little more. I normally play it very safe and always put on protection, but I know (all statistics aside) only once is enough to get oneself infected. I later learned this girl had recently developed serious drug habit, so this left me even more worried. To top it off when searching around the net I found out that being uncircumcised puts one at greater risk than being uncircumcised. And last but not least I later noticed a small reddish tender spot near the shaft of my penis. It doesn't look like an open sore. It looks more like what happens when a stubborn hair breaks through the surface of some dry skin and causes the top most layer to peel a little bit. It wasn't bloody, it looks more like what happens when dry skin peels leaving fresh but slightly more tender skin exposed. Still even if there was no breakage of the skin I suspect its a more vulnerable spot where HIV could be absorbed through a thinner membrane. I'm worried because in my experience its always the one time an otherwise responsible person breaks one of their rules that they live (though not always long) to regret it.

exactly...

worrying does not tell one's status.

I know I'm assuming, I suppose the reason I'm really worried is this was in Baltimore, MD, a city known to have a really high rate of HIV, but as Lizzie Lou said I guess the only way I'll know is to get tested.

You are assuming that she is positive.  Drug habit or not - it is still less likely.

the only way to know one's status is by testing.

a test at 6-8 weeks post exposure will give you a good indication of your status and unlikely to change at that point.  follow up at 3 months for a conclusive result.
