First of all, relax and calm down, we are all human, bound to commit mistakes, otherwise would have been angels living in the skies.
Yes your risk is there, though not significant due to these couple of unprotected incidents with the same person. Though she said so, but verbal assurances have no value when it comes to such matters, here I agree with you.So this situation demands a test after the specified period of 3 months and I am sure you will come out clear out of this because many odds in your favor. But it is required for you to know your post exposure conclusive status with accuracy.
Never go for symptoms, and your mentioned symptom does not come under ARS category, however suggest you to get an STD panel run also.
Never drive a woman and a car when drunk,,,,,,, both carry huge risks :-) For her dental hygiene, just don't worry much, it has nothing to do with HIV transmission, because nobody contract the infection via oral sex or deep kissing.
You will be alright, just wait and get tested.
having unprotected sex puts you at risk for not only hiv, but other stds as well.
you can test at 6-8 weeks post exposure for a good indication of your status..but follow it up at 3 months for a conclusive result.
Thanks for the replies. I'm obviously getting tested in 2 weeks.
So to be clear, should the "rug-burn/scrape" I got down there after intercourse be a cause for serious concern? The whole exposure to a cut factor has me all freaked out, even though technically there wasn't any blood.
re-read the last four words of your comment above...
dont get exterrmly worried ,, although u put yourself at risk,.. hiv virus co concentration in vaginal fluid is most less than blood and semen.. and the odds are 1/1000 -1/2000 according to different books different views,as well as she told she was clean, and most probably she is clean..i.e no hiv no risk..
so just get tested at 6 weeks..and following at 3 months.. if u get6 weeks negative result u can be 90% sure that u didn't cought hiv..and also check for all stds as wells..
cosnult your doctor about which kind of test would perfable..PCR or ELISA..
best of luck buddy..and let us know the good news that u r negative...
