Used Razor Blade..

On my way to a friends house who happens to be my neighbour i hit my toe nail on a wooden chair that was placed on the footpath and had part of my toe nail broken and was bleeding. When i eventually got to my friends apartment i saw her scrapping her nails with a Razor blade. To be able to apply First Aid to the wound,I used the same razor blade she was using to scrape her nails to cut off the broken nail/skin so i could apply disinfectant, it was after all said and done that i realised that i was stupid to use the same razor blade with her because she had mistakenly cut herself with the same razor like two minutes before i used it.

I have been worried, Please is this a risk considering that she is a new friend in the neighbourhood and i dont know her much.

If she were HIV POSITIVE, would i be infected by that incident ?

Okay just because someone doesn't get to your questions immediately doesn't mean we won't. It's 4th of July weekend and a lot of us are with our families.

The events you describe are not a risk for infection. Infection does not occur outside of the body
